Founded in 1966, the Academy of Medical Science of Maricopa County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to operate exclusively for charitable, scientific or educational purposes.
What the Academy Supports
Our priorities are to:
1) Provide outreach to underprivileged students about careers in healthcare.
2) Leverage the medical community to educate physicians about community partners that can help with social determinants of health.
3) Provide scholarships to medical students coming from underprivileged backgrounds.
